Shortwave is a bookmarklet for quickly searching different websites: like a mini commandline for the web.  Think of it as a portable Mozilla Ubiquity.

LittleSnapper is a Mac tool that helps desingers capture and organise inspirational material.  Drop images into collections and annotate them.  Simple but keeps random observations out of your photo library.
